    BEIJING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislator Wu Bangguo,  returned here Wednesday after official goodwill visits to Romania, Moldova, Greece and Russia.

    Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), also attended the first meeting of parliamentary leaders of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held in Moscow.

    Wu's entourage, including his wife Zhang Ruizhen and NPC Standing Committee Vice-Chairman Raidi, returned here aboard the same plane.

    Wu was invited by President of the Senate Nicolae Vacaroiu and President of the Chamber of Deputies Bogdan Olteanu of the Romanian Parliament, Chairman of the Parliament of Moldova Marian Lupu, President of the Greek Parliament Anna Psarouda-Benaki, Chairman of the Federation Council Sergei Mironov and Chairman of the State Duma Boris Gryzlov of the Russian Federal Assembly.
