DAKAR, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of Chinese products
were put on display on Thursday at the opening of the 17th Dakar International
Trade Fair, attracting a large number of visitors.
Senegalese Prime Minister Macky Sall, accompanied by Commerce Minister
Mamadou Diop Decroix, cut the ribbon at a ceremony to open the China Trade Fair,
part of the Dakar trade show.
Covering 1,000 square meters, the China section was flooded by visitors
eager to make business deals, seek information or look for temporary jobs.
Wang Hede, head of the Chinese team, hailed the opening of the China Trade
Fair in Dakar, saying it was the first business show staged by China in Senegal
since the two countries resumed diplomatic relations in October 2005.
China puts on show nearly 1,000 varieties of products, involving 41
enterprises from the major cities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Chongqing,
as well as the provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and
Hunan.
The Chinese counters also offer publications to visitors, briefing them on
the economic development and people's life in China.
