The delegation was led by Chief Minister of Haryana State of India Pradesh Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
This was the first senior Indian delegation to China following Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to India between Nov. 20 and Nov. 23.
Liu and Hooda hailed the success of Hu's tour, the first visit to India by a Chinese head of state in 10 years.
They exchanged views on China-India relations, the ties between the CPC and the All Indian National Congress of India.
Liu, also secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, briefed Hooda on Beijing's economic and social development.
Hooda said "it was a great honor to have the 2008 Olympic Gamesin an Asian city" and wished the games all success.
This year, marking the China-India Friendship Year, witnessed more frequent exchanges in various fields between the two countries.
Hooda and his entourage are here for a week-long China visit at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
