DOHA, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese women's judo player
Gao Feng grabbed the gold medal in 48kg category on Tuesday.
"I want to thank my parents and my boyfriend for
their support,"said Gao, who defeated South Korean Kim Yong Ran in the final
contest.
In 2004 Athens Games, Gao managed to grab a bronze
for China.
"The Athens Games was my first appearance in
international contests, and I did not perform well due to lack of experience, "
said the 24-year-old Gao.
The young Chinese judoka said she wish she could
perform better in Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
