BEIRUT, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of the Hezbollah-led opposition will meet on Monday to launch the second phase of their campaign aimed at toppling Prime Minister Fouad Seniora's government, Lebanon's local Naharnet news website reported.

   The reports said opposition leaders are to meet at the house of the head of the Free Patriotic Movement General Michel Aoun in Rabiyeh Monday to discuss details of "phase two" of their campaign.

   Aoun, a Hezbollah ally, has warned that the opposition would step up its campaign at the end of the so-called "holiday truce" on Sunday, the first working day after the Muslim Eid al-Adha holiday.

   However, Aoun said the protest would maintain its "peaceful" image.

   Lebanese opposition have been holding an open-ended sit-in since Dec. 1 last year outside the government headquarters in downtown Beirut in a bid to topple Seniora's government.
