BUCHAREST, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Dinamo Bucharest on Thursday meets in London the English club Tottenham Hotspur, in the last leg of the UEFA Cup Groups stage.

The match with Tottenham is not of a great importance, as the team's goal, the qualification for the European spring, has already been fulfilled, Striker Ionel Ganea mentioned that all targets for the end of 2006 have been reached.

"I don't think the match is so important for us. We are already qualified. The first place doesn't matter anymore, our goal was to qualify. We have fulfilled all our targets for this year," Ganea said.

Dinamo coach Mircea Rednic, however, thinks something else. He mentioned that his team wants the victory to finish 2006 in very good conditions.

After watching several matches from Dinamo's group, Rednic stated Tottenham is the best of these teams. Rednic also mentioned that the match is very important for footballers' spirit. On the other hand, the match with the English players is seen as a test for the coach, in order to have a better image on the team's necessities.

The captain Ionel Danciulescu wants to return with a good result from England. He said it would be a very nice present to gain all the three points from the match.

If they win, Dinamo will finish the Group B of the UEFA Cup on first place. If not, they will take the second place and will meet in the UEFA Cup last 32 a team knocked out from the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur-Dinamo Bucuresti is scheduled tonight at the "White Hart Lane" Stadium in London, and will be refereed by an Austrian squad, headed up by Bernhard Brugger. He will be helped by linesmen Norbert Schwab and Christian Struz, while Louis Hofmann was appointed the reserve referee.
