BRASILIA, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Forward Ronaldinho has been ruled out of
Brazil's friendly against Portugal because of injury, the Brazilian Football
Confederation (CBF) said on Sunday.
The Barcelona playmaker, who has started only once in five internationals
since Dunga replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira as Brazil coach in August, is
suffering from a calf muscle problem, the CBF said on its official website.
Brazil face Portugal in London on Tuesday, their first meeting since
Portugal's 2-1 win in a friendly in March 2003.
Ronaldinho, who failed to live up to his reputation at last year's World
Cup, has not scored for his country since the Confederations Cup final against
Argentina in June 2005.
The CBF said PSV Eindhoven defender Alex Rodrigo would also miss the game
with a thigh injury.
Dunga, defending an unbeaten record in five games as Brazil coach,
has decided not to call up any replacements for the pair.
