LONDON, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Portugal claimed a 2-0 win over Brazil in their international friendly on Tuesday at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

    Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was an interested spectator at a packed Emirates and he saw Blues defender Ricardo Carvalho add to an earlier goal from Simao Sabrosa as Portugal bagged a fine win.

    The contest was full of attacking endeavor throughout and Brazil defender Lucio hit the bar shortly before the interval.

    Portugal took advantage of the stroke of fortune as Simao latched onto a fine cross from Ricardo Quaresma to ram his side infront on 82 minutes.

    Carvalho sealed the win when turning home a cross in the last minute to hand Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari victory over hishome nation.
