GAZA, May 4 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian civilian was killed and two more were
wounded on Sunday morning in an Israeli artillery shelling in southeast Gaza
Strip, media and witnesses said.
Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the
Palestinian health ministry, told reporters that a Palestinian civilian was
killed and a total of six were wounded during the Israeli army incursion in the
area, east of the southern Gaza Strip town Khan Younis.
Earlier in the day, three Hamas militants and a Palestinian man were
wounded in the military operation, witnesses and security sources said.
