Special report: 2008 Olympic Games

ULAN BATOR, May 8 (Xinhua) -- The Olympic Games should keep away from politics and the Beijing Olympics should not be boycotted by any forms, Mongolian Prime Minister Sanj Bayar said here Thursday.

Bayar made the statement at a conference of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. This is the position of the Mongolian government, Bayar said.

"Mongolia has attended the Olympic Games since 1964. To spread the spirits of Olympic Games and advance mutual amity is our incumbency and I'm pleased to see the 29th Olympic Games will be held in our friendly neighbor country China," Bayar said.

Now 26 Mongolian athletes have obtained the qualifications of attending the Beijing Olympic Games.
