Brazilian swimmers Barbosa and Franca qualify for Olympics

    BRASILIA, May 11 (Xinhua) -- In Sunday's finals of the Maria Lenk Trophy, a Brazilian swimming championships, men's swimmers Henrique Barbosa and Felipe Franca guaranteed their presence in this year's Olympic Games in Beijing.

    In a very competitive race, both swimmers swam well and earned the right to represent Brazil in the 100 meters breaststroke.

    In the last day of competitions of the Maria Lenk Trophy, Barbosa won the event with a time of one minute and 0.92 seconds. Felipe Franca came in second in 1:01:30.
