Man Utd crowned 17th England title
LONDON, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions Manchester United claimed their 17th English title on Sunday after winning 2-0 at Wigan Athletic and Chelsea being held 1-1 at home by Bolton Wanderers in Premier League.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs scored the title-winning victory for the Manchester team with a 33rd-minute penalty from the former and the second on 80 minutes from Giggs, who equaled Bobby Charlton's club record 758th appearance. Full story
