JAKARTA, May 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake registered 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted eastern parts of Indonesia on Wednesday, meteorology agency said here.

    By press time, there is no report of damage or casualty yet.

    The quake hit at 05:44 Jakarta time (2244 GMT Tuesday) with the epicenter at 86 kilometers southeast Bitung town of North Sulawesiprovince and at 45 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.
