Special report: Pakistani Situation

STOCKHOLM, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Denmark's Foreign Minister Per Stig Moeller condemned Monday the attack on the Danish embassy in Pakistan, according to reports reaching here from Copenhagen.

The bombing, which has claimed at least eight lives, is a "terrorist attack" and "one can of course only condemn it," Moeller told local media.

Moller, who has called an emergency meeting of cabinet ministers, said the bombing was "completely unacceptable."

The embassy, in Islamabad, was closed after the attack Monday and the Danish Foreign Ministry called on all Danish nationals to avoid all trips to Pakistan.

The bomb killed at least eight people and injured 24 others, Pakistani media said.
