BRUSSELS, June 2 (Xinhua) -- European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana condemned here on Monday suicide bombing at Denmark's embassy in Pakistan as "outrageous."

    "I condemn this morning's outrageous terrorist attack against the Danish Embassy in Islamabad," Solana said in a statement following the bombing.

    He expressed his condolences to the authorities of Denmark and Pakistan and to the families of the dead and injured.

    It was reported that the suicide car bombing killed at least eight people, including two Pakistani police officers at the embassy, and wounded nearly 30 others.

    The Pakistani government formed a joint team to probe the car bomb explosion.
