    WASHINGTON, June 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President George W. Bush will attend a meeting on how to help China's earthquake relief efforts here Friday, according to White House sources Thursday.

    According to a White House schedule released Thursday, the president will attend the meeting at the American Red Cross headquarters.

    Participants of the meeting include officials form Chinese embassy in Washington and representatives of U.S. nongovernmental organizations, charities and companies involved in the earthquake relief efforts.

    Bush and his wife Laura Bush visited the Chinese embassy here on May 20, mourning the victims of the May 12 devastating earthquake in Sichuan, China, and conveying his condolences to the Chinese people.
