Stabbing attack kills 7 at Tokyo's electronics quarters

    TOKYO, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Seven people died and 11 others were wounded Sunday after a man struck passersby with a small truck and stabbed them with a knife in Tokyo's Akihabara area, police said.

    The 18 victims -- 15 men and three women -- were all taken to hospital after the stabbing attack, and seven died while undergoing emergency treatment. Among the dead were six men aged 19, 20, 29, 33, 47 and 74 and a 21-year-old woman. Full story
