    TOKYO, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Italy notched up a narrow victory Sunday in the final qualifying round for the Olympics men's volleyball, securing a berth in the Beijing Olympics.

    Italy edged out Argentina by 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 21-25, 15-5, taking the first place in the eight-team round with seven wins and no defeats.

    It is the ninth time in a row that Italy has won the ticket for the Olympics since 1976.
