Special report: 2008 Olympic Games

    QUITO, July 1 (Xinhua) -- 25 Ecuadorian athletes have sealed their berths in the Beijing Olympic Games in August, president of the Ecuadorian Federation of Athletics Fausto Mendoza said on Tuesday.

    Mendoza said the 25 athletes will represent Ecuador in nine Olympic disciplines.

    Mendoza added the latest qualifier was jumper Hugo Chila.
