UN Secretary-General ends China visit

    BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon concluded a three-day official visit to China and left Beijing for the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Thursday morning.

    During the visit, Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao met with him respectively, and Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with him.

    Ban also delivered a speech at China Foreign Affairs University and visited the National Stadium, the Bird's Nest, and the Beijing"2008" Project Exhibition Center.

    As a guest of Chinese government, Ban started his China visit on Tuesday afternoon.
