QINGDAO, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Paralympic torch relay in Qingdao of east Shandong Province, the fourth leg of the flame's "modern China" route, ended at May Fourth Square at 11:20 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
The torch relay, covering 4.25 kilometers and involving 70 torchbearers, started at Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, venue for the Paralympic sailing events. The flame was passed among five bearers in a sailing vessel for one thousand meters on the sea.
The flame will continue its tour along "modern China" route in Dalian of northeast Liaoning Province.
