Kuala Lumpur, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian national news agency Bernama Sunday spoke highly of the opening ceremony of the 13th Paralympic Games Saturday night in Beijing, China, saying it was "spectacular" and "magnificent".

The magnificent ceremony presented "a spectacular display of dazzling fireworks" and left 90,000 spectators "spellbound", Bernama said in its report.

Some world leaders and government representatives witnessed "the historic occasion" together at the iconic Beijing National Stadium, the Bird's Nest, it said.

The opening ceremony, named "Flying with the Dream," included about one hour of theatrical performances that centered on the concept of "sky, earth and human beings".

With the theme of "Transcendence, Integration and Equality", the Paralympic Games reflects the yearning and quest of persons with disabilities to build a better world, together with other people, Bernama added. ¡¡
